About DJANGO IN PAIN
Antonio Vega and Ana Graham are developing works subject to the limitations of their self-isolation. They are exploring their possibilities with materials and objects they find in their apartment in New York City: they are finding their way on how to use a drafting table glass desk, while Cristobal MarYan composes and records the music, also in isolation, but in Mexico City.
DJANGO IN PAIN is a virtual theatrical work about a depressed playwright that wants to write a happy and uplifting play, but his struggle comes from the fact that its main character, Django, is thinking about suicide.
Ana and Antonio do not know if the playwright will be able to write this happy play. They do not know if he’ll even continue writing. They do not know if he will end up committing suicide but they wish he won’t.
